Meanwhile, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin said the Election Commission will take appropriate steps once it receives the official gazette notification over the ban of all activities of the Awami League under the Anti-Terrorism Act. 

The CEC also said that all parties have confidence in the EC.

AMM Nasir Uddin said, he wanted to know about all the preparations for the election issue and all parties have confidence in the EC.
