Jahir Raihan took 48.29 seconds to cross 400 metres, which is 1.09 seconds more than his own best timing. And he secured 8th position. Michael Cherryfrom USA secured the top position in the Heat. He took 44.82 second to finish. Jonathan Jones from Barbados took 45.20 seconds and secured the 2nd position.
