BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has said, the time has come for the people of the country to reclaim their lost rights, adding that the general public will exercise that right by casting their votes on February 12.
He made the remark while addressing an election rally at Thakurgaon Government Boys’ High School ground on Saturday afternoon.
He aslo said, the election is not merely about choosing public representatives, but about rebuilding the country.
Highlighting the importance of advancing the nation, Tarique Rahman emphasized the need for women to become economically self-reliant and sought votes in favor of the BNP in the upcoming election.
Outlining future plans for national and regional development, he said, from 1971 to 2024, religion or ethnicity has never been considered in matters concerning the country.
