An alliance of 11 political parties, led by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, will hold a protest rally in Dhaka this afternoon.

The protest will take place at the north gate of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. The alliance is demanding implementation of the July charter and constitutional reforms. 

Leaders say they will continue their movement if their demands are not met and may announce further programs after a meeting on April 7.
