Earlier on May 17, Begum Zia file the petition seeking cancellation of lower court order that framed charges against her and seven others in Naiko Graft case.

The charge was framed by Special Judge Court-6 of Sheikh Hafizur Rahman on March 19 concerning the case.

The case was filed on December 9 of 2007 over an allegation of graft and corruption in signing agreement with the Canadian Company Naiko during her rule.
