Final preparations are underway for the 13th National Parliamentary Election. Voting materials are being sent to polling centers from Wednesday morning.
In Chattogram, election officials were busy at MA Aziz Stadium, packing ballot boxes, ballot papers, and other materials for each polling center.
This time, 66 lac 82 thousand 517 voters will vote in Chattogram. There are 1,965 polling centers in 16 parliamentary constituencies, with 12,601 voting booths. About 43,000 officials will work during voting.
Police have marked 653 centers as risky. 310 centers are under Chattogram Metropolitan Police and 343 under district police.
Security forces including RAB, police, BGB, and the army are deployed to maintain law and order.
Across Bangladesh, nearly 130 million voters will vote. Voting materials have reached most remote hilly areas.
Since Monday, materials are being sent to remote centers in Khagrachhari, Rangamati, and Bandarban.
