2 more children have died with measles symptoms at Rajshahi and Mymensingh medical colleges.

At Rajshahi Medical, a total of 54 children have died of measles and related symptoms so far.

Hospital spokesperson Dr. Shankar K. Biswas said, 9 new patients were admitted on Monday, while 11 were discharged. 

Currently, 123 patients remain admitted and are receiving treatment as needed. Doctors and nurses are struggling to cope with the increased pressure. 

So far, 918 patients with measles symptoms have received treatment at the hospital. 

A similar situation is being observed at Mymensingh Medical College, where one more child has died in the past 24 hours, raising the death toll to 25.

 At present, 79 children are undergoing treatment there.
