Counting is currently underway, the donation boxes were opened at around 7:00 AM under the supervision of Additional District Magistrate and donation box committee convener Jesmin Akhter, in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Fauzia Khan and Superintendent of Police Mohammad Hasan Chowdhury. 

The money is being counted by district administration staff, 285 madrasa students, 50 bank employees, 34 members of the mosque committee, and 10 law enforcement personnel.
