A devastating fire broke out in a residential building in Delhi’s area early Friday morning, killing at least three people and leaving several others injured. Emergency services rushed to the scene as flames rapidly engulfed the multi-storey structure.
According to fire officials, the blaze is believed to have started due to an electrical short circuit and quickly spread throughout the building, trapping residents inside.
At least six people were rescued alive, while eight critically burned victims were taken to nearby hospitals.
Authorities fear the death toll may rise as rescue operations and investigations continue.
