At least Ninety workers have been killed after a gas explosion at a coal mine in China’s Shanxi province.
The country's state media says, thirty-eight workers are still trapped underground.
The accident occured late Friday night in Shanxi province, one of China’s main coal-producing regions.
According to state media, dangerous levels of carbon monoxide were detected inside the mine before the explosion.
At the time of the incident, around two hundred and forty-seven workers were inside.
By Saturday morning, rescue teams had safely evacuated more than two hundred and one miners, but thirty-eight workers were still missing underground.
However, the rescue operations was continuing while the report was filed.
