Health authorities report a rise in measles-like illness deaths across multiple regions of Bangladesh, including Sylhet, Barishal, and Mymensingh.
In Sylhet, three children died within the last twenty-four hours.
One death occurred at Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital and two others at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
With these cases, the death toll in the division has risen to fifty-five.
Officials say around two hundred seventy patients are currently receiving treatment in hospitals across Sylhet.
In Barishal and Mymensingh, two more children have also died with similar symptoms.
