At least 60 people, including 12 members of a family have been killed in a series of Israeli airstrikes on Gaza. More than 150 others sustained injuries.
Israeli bombardment, which began early Thursday,continued upto Friday.According to Palestinian Civil Defense officials and medical personnel,12 members of the same family were killed in an airstrike in Northern Gaza.
A statement issued by the local health ministry confirmed 152 injured individuals were transported to various hospitals across the territory.
Rescue operations remain severely constrained,as many victims are still trapped beneath the rubble or lying on the streets,unreachable by emergency teams.
Israeli forces also conducted extensive strikes in the southern city of Rafah,destroying multiple residential buildings and a healthcare facility.
