Eight of them were admitted to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, while one was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital

The incident occurred around 3:30 am at a tin-shed house in the Hirajheel area of Siddhirganj. 

Locals said, two sisters, Asma and Salma, lived in adjacent rented rooms with their husbands and children.

 All members of the family were seriously injured in the blaze. 

Doctors reported that one victim suffered burns over more than 50% of the body, while four others sustained 40% burns.

Among the five children, the youngest, Imam Uddin, suffered 30% burns.
