In the meantime, Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has already begun feasibility assessments at key intersections across the city.

Meanwhile, Chattogram City Corporation has proposed a Tk 217 crore for the AI-based project. Experts, however, emphasized that alongside camera installation, the overall traffic management system must also be comprehensively reformed. 

For years, traffic signals have been absent at most intersections in Chattogram. Many believe new AI system will bring discipline in the traffic system in the business city.
