The members of this force became victims of public anger while carrying out illegal orders of the Awami league government.

Chief Advisor stated this after Inaugurating the Police Week at Rajarbagh Police Lines in the capital. 

He urged police to try to restore confidence. 

At the same time, CA also directed them to perform their duties impartially in the upcoming elections neutrally and urged the police to be more vigilant to prevent the plots of the defeated forces. 

The Chief Advisor said that the police should become more people friendly by reducing the distance created during the Awami league tenure.

Dr. Muhammad Yunus urged the police to be as tolerant as possible towards women and children as well.
