Actor Nusrat Faria, who was detained from Dhaka airport on Sunday, has been sent to prison in attempt to murder case related to July uprising.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sarah Farzana issued this order rejecting her bail application filed by Faria's lawyers. 

The magistrate set May 22 for hearing for her bail. Earlier, police produced her before the court this morning, seeking her confinement in jail.

On Sunday, immigration police of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport detained the actor while she was trying to leave the country for Thailand. 

They handed her over to Bhatara police. Later on the actress was taken to DB office.

After primary quizzing, she was shown arrested in a case filed with the Bhatara Police Station.
