Sale of advance eid train tickets has entered into day-3 train. The ticket seekers standing in a long ques till midnight and the line getting longer as the day progresses.
On Monday, however, a huge crowd of ticket seekers has been noticed at the station. It was seen on the spot at Kamalapur railway station on Sunday that the sale of tickets for April 9started at 8:00 am.
Tickets are being sold at 16 counters simultaneously.There are two separate counters for women and persons with disabilities. A long queue of thousands of people has been seen at the station for tickets. After a while, one or two people are returning with tickets from the front of the counter.
They said that even after waiting for a long time, the tickets have been found. However, many alleged not to get tickets as per the demand. Ticket seeker Sabbir Ahmed said, "I came to the station after 2:00 am.I took my sehri here. I finally got the ticket.It feels good to get a ticket despite suffering.
