The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has officially confirmed the full schedule and venues for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025, following the earlier release of the tournament fixtures.
In a statement issued on Saturday, the ACC announced that matches will be held at two prominent venues in the UAE -the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi and the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. All matches, except one, are scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM Bangladesh Standard Time (BST).
Bangladesh will play all three of its group-stage matches in Abu Dhabi. The Tigers, led by Liton Das, will kick off their campaign on September 11 against Hong Kong.
They will then face Sri Lanka on September 13 and Afghanistan on September 16.At the end of the first round, the top two teams from each group will progress to the Super Four stage.
The Asia Cup final is set for September 28 and will be held in Dubai.
