Both former champions have lost their opening games in the second phase of the regional competition and today’s match will offer them a chance to revive their campaign for the final. 

The top two teams from the round-robin style Super Fours will qualify for the final in Dubai on Sunday. 

Bangladesh and India, the other Super Fours teams, each have two points on the board after their respective wins against Sri Lanka and Pakistan. 

Six-time winners Sri Lanka were edged by the Tigers by four wickets in a closely fought match on Saturday.
