In separate incidents, 2 more people lost their lives in road accidents in Jhenaidah and Teknaf.

At 10 AM, a collision occurred between an oil tanker and a Mahindra three-wheeler in front of the Dumuria Fire Service on the Khulna-Satkhira Highway.

Seven passengers of the Mahindra were critically injured and were rushed to the Dumuria Health Complex.

Despite medical efforts, three victims were declared dead.

The remaining four survivors have been transferred to Khulna Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment. 

In another incident, an auto-rickshaw driver and mango trader was killed after his vehicle was struck by a Mahindra in Dhanshadi, Jhenaidah. 

Meanwhile, in Teknaf, a Rohingya fisherman lost his life after being hit by a sand-laden dump truck.
