Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has called on Chinese businesses to invest in Bangladesh, urging them to view the country through a new lens and recognize the opportunities emerging in a transforming economy.
With the BNP government targeting a trillion-dollar economy by 2034, increasing investment and creating new jobs have been identified as key priorities.
Against this backdrop, the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) organized the Bangladesh Investment Forum in Beijing to attract greater Chinese investment.
Chinese business leaders attended the conference, where Prime Minister Tarique Rahman highlighted Bangladesh’s vast investment potential and pledged to ensure a business-friendly environment for foreign investors.
