A CNG auto-rickshaw driver, identified as Sohel Mia,  has been killed after being hit by a truck while crossing the Dhaka–Sylhet Highway in Nabiganj upazila of Habiganj.

Meanwhile, a stone-laden truck overturned in the bypass area of Kushtia, leaving its driver and assistant dead. 

In protest, CNG workers blocked the Dhaka–Sylhet Highway, disrupting traffic for nearly an hour and causing long tailbacks on both sides of the road. 

Police from Nabiganj Police Station and Sherpur Highway Police later arrived at the scene and brought the situation under control.
