Banglasdesh is currently experiencing mild to moderate heat wave and the prevailing mild to moderate heat wave condition over the country is likely to continue during next seven days.
According to Met office forecast, weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions and the district of Nilphamari and it may continue.
The mild to moderate heat wave, with the temperature ranging from 36-38 degrees Celsius to 38-40 degrees Celsius will continue for the next seven days.
It also said that a severe heatwave with temperatures of 40-42 degrees Celsius may sweep through Rajshahi, Khulna and Dhaka divisions. Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
