Bangladesh has signed the International Convention on Anti-Dis-appearance. With this step, Bangladesh joined the International Convention for the Protection of Abducted and Missing Persons adopted in New York on December 20, 2006.
Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus termed it a historic incident after signing the convention this afternoon. He said, Bangladesh will be faithfully committed to fulfill the terms of this charter. The Chief Adviser further informed that considering the Convention, the Government of Bangladesh has agreed to it.
