The fatal accident occurred in the Tetul-tola area early in the morning. The victims have been identified as Santosh Roy and Bhavesh Roy. 

Both were construction workers heading to their work when they were hit by the speeding train. 

Local witnesses say the pair failed to notice the train due to the lack of warning signals at the crossing. 

Meanwhile, in a separate incident, two motorcyclists killed in a road accident in Meherpur.
