Border Guard Bangladesh continues strict surveillance along the border to prevent push-ins, while 9 people remain stranded in difficult conditions in Kurigram's Roumari border area.
The group, including women and children, has been living under makeshift polythene shelters along the zero line near the Roumari Goytapara and Bhandurchar border points for the past five days.
With limited food supplies and no proper sanitation facilities, they are enduring severe hardship.
According to local sources, India's Border Security Force attempted to push the group into Bangladesh early Sunday.
However, resistance from BGB personnel and local residents prevented the move, forcing them to remain in the border's no-man's-land.
