Meteorologist, Mohammad Tariful Newaz Kabir has said,  the rainfall is expected to persist throughout the month. 

He also noted that precipitation is likely to increase after July 17. 

Meanwhile, BMD has withdrawn the landslide warning that had been issued for the country's hilly regions due to earlier heavy rainfall.
