Speaking at a prayer gathering held in front of the BNP central office in Capital’s Nayapaltan, this morning, Rizvi criticized the continued influence of fascist elements in the state apparatus. 

He expressed hope that an interim government would soon take effective measures to hold these individuals accountable. 

Addressing the country’s economic challenges, Rizvi called on the authorities to ensure that the garments and industrial sectors remain operational, emphasizing their importance in sustaining the economy. 

Clarifying the party’s position on reforms, Rizvi said, BNP is not against reforms, but want a change of power and the restoration of democracy through a free and fair election.
