He also believes that there is no alternative to elections to restore a fair democratic environment in the country. Therefore, the government should announce the election road map very soon.

 He said these after the meeting of the BNP's liaison committee with nationalist like-minded political parties at the Chairperson's Gulshan office this morning.

 Stating that various issues including the law and order situation and the price of daily commodities were discussed, the leaders of the like-minded alliance urged the interim government to quickly announce the election date with minimum organization.
