BNP urges EC to take visible steps in National Election

BNP's International Affairs Secretary, Nasir Uddin Asim, has called on the Election Commission to take immediate and visible steps toward holding the next national election, warning that any delay could pave the way for the return of a "fallen autocracy.
Speaking at an event in Dhaka’s New Market area, organized to demand the construction of parks and playgrounds for children’s physical and mental development, as well as effective measures to resolve water logging, Asim warned that conspiracies surrounding the upcoming election are unfolding both at home and abroad.
Calling for unity, he urged all political parties to move beyond their differences and come together in the national interest, stressing that only a truly neutral election can restore public trust and political stability in Bangladesh.
