He came up with the comment while speaking to British news agency reuters in his office in the capital Dhaka on Friday. 

Speaking to reuters he also expressed confidence that his party would win the next general election on its own. 

When asked whether BNP would form an alliance government with Jamaat if victorious, he rejected the idea, saying, a strong opposition party is necessary to maintain democracy and parliamentary balance.
