According to BGB, BSF tried to push 24 people into Bangladesh late Friday night near the Karola camp.

BGB's Balarhat unit protested, leading to a flag meeting between the two sides. Upon verifying their Bangladeshi citizenship, BGB agreed to receive them. 

The group included 8 women and 8 children from four families. Later, Kurigram district authorities and local representatives handed them over to their relatives.
