Twenty people who were subjected to a push-in attempt along the Chouka border in Chapainawabganj have been taken back by India's Border Security Force, or BSF.The BSF took back the 20 individuals at noon.
Earlier this morning, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), thwarted an attempt to push them into Bangladesh.
Following the failed attempt, the group remained stranded in the zero line area.
Meanwhile, on Friday dawn, another push-in attempt involving four people was made through the Khalpara border in Buripota Union of Meherpur Sadar Upazila.
With assistance from local residents, the BGB successfully prevented that attempt as well.
