The Bangladesh national cricket team has left for the UAE ahead of their T20 series against the hosts and Pakistan.
A 17-member contingent, including coaching staff and several junior players, took the first flight, while senior players are scheduled to follow later in the evening.
Led by assistant coach and support staff, a group of 17 including emerging players Rishad, Ranu, and Imon departed early for the UAE.
Senior players such as Liton Das, Najmul Hossain Shanto, and Mustafizur Rahman will join the squad on a second flight at 7 PM.
The team will undergo two days of training before facing UAE on May 17 and 19 in a two-match T20 series.
The squad will then head to Pakistan for a five-match series as part of their T20 World Cup preparations.
With Liton and Mahedi sharing leadership roles, team management is expected to closely monitor their performance and the overall batting unit.
