Turkeye has expressed its interest to become the development partner of Bangladesh. Türkiye's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said this while helding a bilateral meeting with Bangladesh's Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman in Dhaka on Friday morning.
The meeting began at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka.
During the talks, Bangladesh and Türkiye signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cultural exchange between the two countries.
Later in the afternoon, Hakan Fidan is scheduled to visit the Rohingya refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar.
On Saturday, he is expected to pay a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at noon before departing Dhaka later that day.
The Turkish foreign minister arrived in Dhaka on Thursday night on a three-day official visit.
