The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 pm Bangladesh Standard Time. Bangladesh reached the semi-final as Group A champions with a 2-2 draw against the Maldives before beating Bhutan 3-0 in their other group match. 

On the other hand, Nepal reached the last four of the competition as Group B runners-up by crushing Sri Lanka 5-0 and conceding a 4-0 defeat to hosts India. 

Bangladesh coach Golam Rabbani Choton is optimistic about winning the match against Nepal.
