Bangladesh ended the second day of the Dhaka Test in complete command, piling up a massive total before dismantling Ireland’s top order.
Bangladesh strengthened their grip on the 2nd Test versus Ireland, putting up a big first-innings total and reducing Ireland to 98/5.
On the second day of Dhaka Test, Bangladesh piled up 476 in their first innings, underpinned by centuries from Liton Das (128) and Mushfiqur Rahim (106).
In response, Ireland collapsed to 98 for 5 by stumps, trailing by 378 runs.
Hasan Murad led the spin charge for Bangladesh with 2-10, while Taijul Islam and Mehidy Hasan Miraz also picked up wickets.
With three days still to play, Bangladesh are in complete control of the match.
