Bangladesh will face the Netherlands in a three-match T20I series in Sylhet, instead of Dhaka or Chattogram, confirmed BCB’s Cricket Operations Chairman, Nazmul Abedeen Fahim.
As part of their Asia Cup preparations, Liton Das and his team will play the Dutch on sporting wickets, prompting the choice of Sylhet as the venue.
The camp will begin on August 5 with fitness tests, followed by training sessions in the tea-growing region. Head coach Phil Simmons and other staff members are expected to rejoin the squad on August 10 after their leave.
