The 28 crewmembers of rocket-hit Banglar Shamriddhi in Ukraine have returned home from war-torn Ukraine.
A Turkish airlines flight carrying the 28 crew members have landed at the Shahjalal international airport at 15:15pm.
On the night of 23rd February, the sailors who were stranded at the port of Alvia with 29 sailors, came under rocket attack . Mohammad Hadisur Rahman, the ship's third engineer, was killed in the attack.
The next day, 28 sailors were rescued alive from the ship and taken to a bunker outside the port in a tugboat.
After spending 39 hours in a bunker, the sailors boarded a bus to the neighboring country of Moldova at around 6:15 pm on Saturday.
