It is Barcelona’s 29th league title and their first time sealing the championship at home against Real Madrid.

FC Barcelona secured the La Liga title with an impressive 2-0 victory over long-time rivals Real Madrid in the season’s second Clasico on Sunday night.

The win confirmed Barcelona as league champions with three matches still left to play.

Under coach Hansi Flick, the team displayed attacking football throughout the season and finished strongly against their biggest rivals. 

This marks Barcelona’s 29th La Liga title — the second-highest total in league history.
