Roads have been washed away, fish ponds destroyed, and vast areas of seed beds and vegetable fields have been ruined, leaving thousands of families counting their losses.

Flood victims have started returning home from shelters in Chattogram, although thousands of people remain stranded by floodwater. 

The overall flood situation has improved in Cox's Bazar, but many low-lying areas are still inundated. Conditions have also improved across Rangamati and Khagrachhari. 

In Habiganj, flood victims are assessing heavy losses to Aush paddy, vegetable farms and fish enclosures. 

Meanwhile, relentless rainfall has left Satkhira grappling with severe waterlogging, affecting the municipality and seven upazilas, where thousands continue to endure daily hardship.
