Former Prime Minister and BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has reached London, the capital of the United Kingdom. A special air ambulance carrying the BNP chief landed at the Heathrow Airport in London around 2:55 pm today.
Begum Khaleda Zia left her Gulshan residence in Dhaka at 8:15 on Tuesday night and reached Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 11 pm. She is traveling to London on a special air ambulance sent by the Emir of Qatar. After reaching in London she is expected to meet with her eldest son Tarique Rahman after long seven and a half years. Earlier on Tuesday morning, a large number of leaders and activists of BNP and its front organizations were gathered outside her residence to see off their beloved leader.
