BNP Chairperson and former PM Begum Khaleda Zia remains under close observation by local and foreign doctors at Evercare Hospital in the capital. Meanwhile, two specialist medical teams from China and the UK arrive in Dhaka today for her treatment.
Begum Khaleda Zia's personal physician and BNP leader, Dr AZM Zahid has confired the information on Tuesday night.
He stated that Begum Khaleda Zia is receiving treatment and expressed hope that, with the prayers of the people, she will recover. He also urged all concerned not to spread rumors about her condition.
Begum Zia was most recently admitted to the hospital on November 23.
Since November 27, she has been kept under intensive observation.
