A Singapore-bound flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka shortly after take-off this morning following suspected engine trouble.
The incident happened when Flight BG584, operated by a Boeing 737-800, took off at 8:38 am and began experiencing engine trouble after climbing to an altitude of around 2 thousand and 500 feet.
The captain then decided to return to Dhaka and landed the aircraft safely at 8:59 am.
According to the spokesperson of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport ,154 passengers and seven crew members on board. All are safe and unharmed.
