Brazil and Argentina are set to take the field in separate early morning matches as South American World Cup qualifiers continue.

Under new head coach Carlo Ancelotti, Brazil face Ecuador, while Argentina meet Chile two hours later.

Brazil will debut under Carlo Ancelotti against a strong Ecuador side in what marks the Italian coach’s first game since leaving Real Madrid.

With Neymar injured, the squad features a mix of experience and youth including Richarlison, Casemiro, and Manchester United’s Matheus Cunha.

Meanwhile, Argentina, already qualified for the World Cup, will face Chile in a routine match.

Lionel Messi returns after a seven-month hiatus and currently leads CONMEBOL qualifiers with six goals.

He’ll be joined by Lautaro Martínez and Julián Álvarez in attack, though Alexis Mac Allister, Paulo Dybala, and Lisandro Martínez are absent due to injuries.
