Uttara's Milestone School and College continues to mourn as the shadow of grief deepens following the recent aircraft crash.

The confirmed death toll has now risen to 35, with four others in critical condition and nine more undergoing treatment for severe injuries at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

Out of the 36 individuals currently receiving treatment, 10 have shown significant recovery and are expected to be discharged gradually in the coming days, according to hospital sources.

In the aftermath of the tragedy, the main branch of Milestone School and College in Capital’s Uttara has been declared closed for today and tomorrow.

Clean up operations are actively underway at the crash-affected building, with a specialized team from the Bangladesh Air Force working to remove debris and sanitize the area.

The team is expected to officially hand over the site to the school authorities once the operation is complete later today.

Despite these efforts, anxiety and fear continue to grip students and parents, casting uncertainty over the resumption of academic activities at the main campus.
