Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus has directed authorities to expedite the appointment of head teachers to vacant posts in government primary schools across the country.
He gave the directive during a meeting held on Monday at the state guest house Jamuna.
Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Adviser Bidhan Ranjan Roy, Secretary Abu Taher Masud Rana and other senior officials were present.
During the meeting, Chief Adviser inquired about the quality of education in government primary schools and reviewed performance rankings.
