Parbatya Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs Minister, Dipen Dewan has officially resigned from his position, citing ongoing health complications. His resignation letter, submitted on Monday and accepted by the Prime Minister.
In his application, Dewan stated that he has been suffering from multiple physical ailments since taking office, which have significantly affected his ability to carry out regular ministerial duties.
He emphasized that stepping down was necessary to ensure smoother administrative operations and to support the government’s broader goals of development and efficiency.
The advocate-turned-politician also continues to serve as a Member of Parliament for the Rangamati constituency.
