The Election Commission has completed all preparations for voting, ensuring smooth conduct on election day.

Candidate campaigns officially close at 7 AM Tuesday.

Voting will take place across all designated polling stations, supervised by executive magistrates and law enforcement personnel.

In Sherpur-3, covering the Sreebardi and Jhenaigati upazilas, over 4 lac 13 thousand voters will cast their ballots at 128 polling stations. 

Earlier, the election in this constituency was postponed after a candidate’s death during campaign period.

Meanwhile, in Bogura-6, the seat became vacant after Tarique Rahman resigned it following his election from Dhaka-17.
