International Crimes Tribunal-ICT has framed charges against eight accused in Chankharpul 6 murder case. The tribunal also oredered to begin the trial of the case.
The three-member of the tribunal, led by Justice Golam Mortuza Mojumder delived the order. Earlier, the date of charge framing of the case was set after hearing from both sides on July 3rd.
The case was filed for killing six persons during student-led mass uprising in capital’s Chankharpul area on August 5th last year.
Meanwhile, on June 3rd, the tribunal ordered a public notice for publishing in the newspapers, summoning four of the accused who remain fugitives.
The absconding accused are former DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman, former Joint Commissioner Sudip Kumar, former ADC Shah Alam and former Assistant Commissioner Mohammad Imrul.
